Short Description: Organizations invest in human capital through their training and development programs for employees. This investment delivers returns through improved performance, increased productivity, and improved morale. Training and development is an organization-wide task in addition to individuals tasked with the role as part of their job. This course discusses the strategic approach to training and the analyze and evaluation stages of the training process. This course also covers the design, development, and implementation stages of this process. The course provides a comprehensive overview of Creative Cloud: Photoshop and InDesign. It will begin by learning to set up the software and how to import image files from a variety of sources. The course will cover the most important features of Photoshop CC including retouching and repairing damaged photos, enhancing your digital images, and adding custom 3-D effects. Students will also learn how to edit images for the web, create an online photo gallery, and incorporate graphics into desktop publishing programs. They will also explore color management, using various palettes, compositing, using layers, applying gradients, setting type, and working with filters. Lastly, students will learn to work with documents, text, and text frames, page layouts, how to draw in InDesign, understand color, clip paths, alignment, and objects. Included with this course, students will receive a one year subscription to the full Adobe Creative Cloud suite.

Instructor Description: Though this program is a self-paced program it is supported by an educational mentor. Educational mentors are subject matter experts who have years of experience in their field as well as the necessary educational training and credentials to work as an expert. The mentor is available to answer any questions a learner may have including questions on course content, course material, certifications, and even industry questions. Mentors also monitor the progress of learners to ensure training retention and program advancement. In eLearning, motivation is a key tool to success. Because of this, mentors provide encouraging comments, feedback, and coaching to motivate learners throughout the duration of the program to support completion and success!
